T. Johnson (low back pain patient comments)

"I woke up one morning after doing some work on my vehicle the day before which required me to contort my body into some interesting positions; the pain in my low back above my hip caused me to be in such pain that any movement in certain directions caused a stabbing pain. For this pain i sought out my physical therpaist that was able to educate me as to what the route cause of this stabbing pain was and some stretches i could do to alleviate my severe discomfort. The attention to tdetail and education my therpaist provided me very much instilled confidence in me. The therapist was able to use some of his electrical stimulator machines and his professional manual massage and exercises to relieve my pain almost completely. I was instructed on some home exercises and stretches so i could take care of my self and not get into such a painful situation again. I would recommend Advanced Physical Therapy to anyone who was seeking pain relief. The  staff there is very sincere and genuinely concerned abouth their patient's welfare."

I fell twelve feet and landed on my stiff right leg. That broke my ankle bones, talus, navicular, calcaneus, (Quoting the doctor, "it looked like Rice Krispies") i had broken cuboid bones and one metatarsal bone.
I have Phase II Diabetes so the bottom of my feet often have a burning sensation which becomes painful if i continue to stay on them.
My pain occurs where the fibula articulates with the outer malleous of the ankle joint. The tibialis anterior muscle is rigid and stiff at times.
I believe the circulation of my foot has improved as the burning sensation is greatley lessened. The pain (in) the ankle joint is nearly gone. It sometimes reoccurs but it is not as painful. I feel the Rebuilder is helping me a great deal. With my diabetic conditionkeeping the circulation is important.

I came to Advanced Physical Therapy for treatment of a broken radius in my right elbow sustained while roller skating with my girlfriend.

Nathan, my therapist, put me on a fairly strenuous program of stretching and strengthening exercises. He was very professional while also very personable. All the aides with whom I worked were also very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly.

At the start of the program I was experiencing significant pain and could (only) extend my arm to 45°. After the three week program most of my arm pain was gone and (I) could extend my arm to 173°. Nathan also gave me a home program to hopefully regain the final few degrees of extension.

Overall my experience was very positive and more successful than I had anticipated.
